The Nordic Health Literacy Network (NorHLnet) was founded in 2012. The network is open for all people interested in, working with and/or wanting to work with Health Literacy and/or conducting Health Literacy research in any of the Nordic countries.

Currently, the Nordic Health Literacy Network is chaired by Lena Maartenson, Sweden.

The network aims to facilitate knowledge sharing through regional meetings and conference activities. The group is also active at Linked In.
